“An excellent introduction to Production Chemistry. The course was exceptionally well presented, in very clear and well-structured modules, easy to understand and accessible to everyone – with or without a chemistry background. I am an offshore chemist, and this course gave me further insight into oilfield chemistry, especially in the areas of the action mechanism of different chemicals, and how they can adversely react with each other. The presenters’ many years of experience shone through, as every chemical problem was followed with real-life case studies of situations that they had come across, as well as the actual solutions that were implemented. Helpful advice was also given on how to cut costs in terms of chemical preservation, as well as how to reduce costs for onshore testing; suggestions which I’ll be taking on board in my current role. Overall this was one of the most useful training courses I have attended, not only for the content but also for the connections I made with other delegates. I would highly recommend this course especially if you are an offshore chemist, and would say that it is essential if you are considering going into Production Chemistry.”
“An excellent introduction to Production Chemistry. The presenters use their vast experience to educate the participants in a clear and friendly manner. Highly recommended.”
“This course offers an essential introduction and overall grounding in the subject of oilfield production and flow assurance chemistry. In my opinion, it had the right blend of technical detail and high-level strategy for new chemists and non-chemists alike. David and Nick are extremely knowledgeable, delivering their content and answering technical questions with confidence and flair. A memorable event, well done!”
“I found the workshop to be a fantastic introduction to production chemistry concepts and applications within the oil and gas industry. I work in operations, with a background in marketing and came to the course with very little production chemistry knowledge, and yet found the workshop material and delivery very interesting and easy to understand. I really liked that the importance of innovation in oil and gas was highlighted during the workshop and found the discussion on the latest technological advancements, from chemical injection to analysis, very interesting. I would definitely recommend the course to both technical and non-technical personnel alike within the oil and gas industry. “
“The Oil and Gas Chemistry Workshop gave an excellent overview of oil and gas processing as a whole, providing context to the purpose and function of production chemicals in the industry. The use of presentation slides, case studies and group exercises ensured the workshop remained varied and interesting throughout. David and Nick were knowledgeable and engaging, and participation from attendees enhanced the knowledge sharing experience. During the workshop, I met people from a range of businesses, broadening my view of the industry and creating useful links for the future.”
“An excellent training course, very well structured and delivered. I would recommend anyone who is involved in oil & gas production, in particular flow assurance or production processes, to consider attending.”
